Ahh. Another Matthew flick. He was good in it but I felt his character wasn't... enough. I don't even know what. Maybe the difference between his pigwhipped and confident self wasn't too different for me. Yeah, maybe I would have liked a little more nuances in that. Well, the girls were far more characteristic and like extreme. Maybe it was purposeful to make Chip a little more mellow of a character in the midst of the craziness. I wasn't too sure about Violet though. She seemed unbalanced and dodgy. I definitely wouldn't have fallen for her, especially after one night. Liza was played well, although I liked the actress better in Excision. This one here was too showy. The Excision one was super like...so fucking different and interesting to see.
2,5/5 (5/8/2017)
290. Hot Air
So this was streamed live online and I got an access to it from jelloreid on tumblr. She bought a ticket and gave me her account information. Big thanks to her.
The film... eh, there were some "mistakes" that were too noticeable. Like in a scene if the shots were changed the people were in too different positions and it made the scene lose fluidity. Happened on several occassions, don't think I've ever noticed it this much in a film before. And the sound was off too at times. Like the voices were too loud and the background noise was almost non existent.
Story wise...ehh.. could have been better. It felt a bit like picture and story wise the movie was just like... jagged puzzle pieces that didn't go together that well. Like you could see the image but it was in pieces and didn't flow nicely. Maybe it was all down to editing, dunno.
1,5/5 (30/5/2017)
289. How To Be A Serial Killer
Can't say I thoroughly liked it. It got watchable after the girlfriend was murdered. The killer wasn't a particularily convincing psychopath. I wasn't a fan of the "lesson" bits where the dude performed on the stage. I said somewhere I don't like it when the characters talk to the camera and also I don't like narrators in movies and that's what I felt the stage bits were.
1,5/5 (9/4/2017)
288. Sing
Ehhh...was alright. The character storylines were really solid. Like, it was only a little unpredictible. Like you knew it was gonna end well so that was a little meh, but I didn't think it would end this way.
2/5 (13/3/2017)
287. The Boat That Rocked
Okay. This was well done, gonna give it that. But the subject of the film was revolting. I cannot stand rock music, I cannot stand people who self righteously like rock music and I cannot stand this stupid arrogant male comradery. I dunno what other films the writer/director of this has done but this film just looked like a pathetic daydream of a loser. It absolutely lacked any kind of emotion. It was just arrogance and showing off. Sex and ego, typical male bullshit.
1/5 (9/3/2017)
286. Moana
Holies! Took me to a totally different place. The most beautiful, breathtaking and magical place on Earth. I looked up the cinemas to go and see it there but it's off air by now. :(
5/5 (27/2/2017)
285. About Time
Well, throughout the whole film I was hoping for some amazing sci fi shit to happen. But all I got was some The Notebook shit. And The Notebook is the worst movie I've ever seen. I hated McAdamas for years after seeing that bs and this film just put me off of her again. I fucking hate these overly romantic romance films. They're the worst! The time travelling saved it from being the worst movie ever but was outweighed by the romantic stuff. I just kept hoping something horrible (realistic) would happen, like cheating, a proper fight, or divorce.
1/5 (9/2/2017)
284. Storks
Eh. I wasn't really feeling the characters. And I wish it had atually been educative for kids and explain where children actually come from.
1,5/5 (20/1/2017)
283. Mary And Max
Okay, thought it was gonna be funny/kid-friendly and for some reason thought it was based on real life. Anyway... this was too dark for me. Everything was dark about it. The "homophobia" bit was funny though. It was well done though, but the thing that wasn't my cup of tea at all was the need of a narrator. I already said somewhere here I want the characters and... the picture to convey the story not a narrator.
2/5 (16/1/2017)
282. Kiki's Delivery Service
Well, this out of all the Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki films, I like the least. Because it was too much of a love story. My fave part was when Kiki went to the cottage in the woods with the woman. Like, I wish she had found her powers without amorous love. It was still very much like the rest of the stuff by them but just not as good. Loved the look of the places and animations.
2/5 (12/1/2017)
281. The Great Buck Howard
Well, was so so. I'm forever very sceptical about stuff like that. Wasn't the young dude who played an aspiring writer in another film!? Watched it mainly for MGG. Yeah he was in it for seconds...blah :D
1,5/5 (9/1/2017)
280. Trolls
Okay, I'm gonna be a party pooper, or a Bergen here. The story was somewhat good. Had a good point. I didn't feel a connection with any of the characters though. And I wasn't feeling the visual part of it either. Like when I get anxiety I like to watch Finding Nemo cause it's nice and colourful and I can focus on that. This was colourful too but it wasn't working for me for some reason. The sparkly troll was pretty much the only thing I liked. I don't think I was feeling the music too much either. I mean I really hate musicals so maybe that's why I wasn't feeling this one. I liked the in-the-pot scene where Branch started singing though, that's a nice song in general. Timberlake's got a nice talking voice.
1,5/5 (8/1/2017)
279. Magic Valley
Ugh, too negative for my liking. I liked the way the stories overlapped in some parts of the film. Okay did the girl die cause of that choking game or what!? Too inconclusive. I'm stupid, more details and better ending please!
1/5 (2/1/2017)
278. Trash Fire
Yeah, I was gonna give it a higher rating but I wasn't happy with the end. Why make the dude die? Yeah he fucked his sister over but ugh. And I didn't understand the significance of the old dude coming by at night. I see the director... yeah the stuff I've seen, all because of Matthew, yeah I've liked but the end of this...? It had a good going yeah but...
1,5/5 (22/12/2016)
277. Beautiful Girl
Okay, I really didn't like the ditzyness of the main girl. And just the whole business-y feel to the story, like the superficial stuff. The main dude was too simple of a character I felt.
1,5/5 (12/12/2016)
276. Margot At The Wedding
Probably had downloaded it cause of Black. Yeah, was a weird story. Kinda negative characters but unpredictible story.
2/5 (8/12/2016)
275. 500 Days Of Summer
Ah. Some bits of the film were worth a 3/5 rating. I absolutely loved the "we're a couple, god damn it" scene. So good! And the end was super cute aswell with Autumn.
1,5/5 (7/12/2016)
274. RV
Yeah it wasn't that good. It had the family and a roadtrip but yeah...not so good. Thank goodness for MGG.
1/5 (The end of November 2016)
274. Excision
Another Matthew flick. What the shit? lol Like, I was with it up until the end. What the shit, girl!? It was very different to everything I've ever seen. Both the main girl and the mother pissed me off cause they were bitches but very humane at the same time. Fuck. The end? What!? Was a bit too depressing for me.
1,5/5 (3/11/2016)
273. Life After Beth
Hm. Too morbid for me. I did laugh out loud a few times though. I also felt really sad for the girl.
1,5/5 (2/11/2015)
272. Sausage Party
Finally saw it. At home. Well... they didn't hold back now, did they? :D Oh wow. Pretty straight forward with everything. Yeah I planned to go see it with my bro. When that fell through I asked my mum to go with me. She said she didn't want to. Thank god I didn't see it with her. She would have hated it. The debauchery!! Um yeah, saw a point was made but I was hoping for a different kind of ending. Seemed like an easy way out.
2/5 (1/11/2016)
271. Suburban Gothic
Ahh, Matthew! My new love. Anyway... that film was fucking awesome. I'm pretty sure I would have loved it even if Gubler hadn't been in it. Really loved the story. Plus his girlie was super hot.
4/5 (16/10/2016)
270. Orange County
Well. Mostly was shit. It got alright after the writer part. Basically the end then.
1/5 (29/9/2016)
269. Maleficent
Hm. I can't say I liked it. It was too dark and negative. All that bad stuffed outweighed the positive in the movie.
1,5/5 (7/9/2016)
268. Anomalisa
Great! I didn't quite grasp what it was about though.. losing love? Connection with people and the world? Ah the table scene was heartbreaking though. And the sex part made me feel uncomfortable cause...puppets lol
4,5/5 (6/9/2016)
267. The Sound And The Fury
Saw it over a week I think. Maybe more. Yeah it's the kind of film you have to watch in one go. There was too much difficult english for me, even with the subtitles. I didn't understand who was who or what was said. I'm a simple mind. Maybe I need to read the book first. Liked the actors.
1,5/5 (19/8/2016)
266. Finding Dory
I had very high hopes for this one. I was so excited that I actually went to see it in cinema. Yeah it wasn't as good as I hoped. I felt like there was too much happening. Too many new places. Very complicated. Not as much heart as in Nemo. I have yet to see it in english. When it's available I'll download it and watch it in english at home in comfy surroundings. Maybe I'll like it better then.
1,5/5 (6/8/2016)
265. Gabriel
I don't even know what made me download this one. Well... it did remind me of myself a little when I was really really sick. I was obsessed with getting to Tartu when I wasn't even functioning properly. I used to be opposed to pills aswell but they saved me life. I was gonna give it a 2 but the end was too inconclusive.
1,5/5 (30/7/2015)
264. Annie
Oh dear. This took me about a week to watch. I don't understand why this girl was cast to play Annie. I don't wanna blast a kid but I'm sure there was someone a lot more talented, acting and singing wise. I loved all the songs with Diaz and Foxx. Diaz was pretty good in this.
2/5 (27/7/2016)
263. Hell And Back
It was too bro-ish for me. Yeah it was about friendship but it wasn't genuine for me cause it was too "cool-ish". Think the devil was my fave character. The raping stuff was always on the fence, swerving into the inappropriate lane every once in a while.
1,5/5 (15/7/2016)
262. The Good Dinosaur
So this was a lovely coming of age story. I'm gonna nitpick though... I didn't like the look of the green dinosaurs. Everything else, the nature, was breathtaking though. The kid was super cute. I didn't like how they were separated though. I mean who taught the humans how to herd and farm then!? And I wish Arlo could have proven his awesomeness to his parents somehow, not just walk in one day and get his footprint on the stone.
4,5/5 (8/7/2016)
261. Knowing
About half way through I was gonna give it a 3 for solidity. Then after watching it I thought, "Fuck it. I'll give it a 5"! I mean this film represents the kind of thoughts I have in my head daily. Loved it.
5/5 (3/7/2016)
260. Internet Famous
Holy shit what a load of shit. Absolutely horrible.
0/5 (27/6/2016)
259. FAQ About Time Travel
I was gonna give it a whopping 3,5 rating til I saw the writing part. Like... was this story about friendship? Like, I'm sure anyone would choose their friend's life over shit. It had a good going though. They should have made the film longer and put some point in it.
2/5 (24/6/2016)
258. Hope Springs
This one made me uncomfortable. Seeing the man so uncomfortable really rubbed off on me. For some reason I thought it was gonna be funny. It was too much therapy for me. Would have loved a little bit of their own life, in the living mode. Plus the end was a little rushed. I would have thought it would take a longer time for things to be okay between them.
1,5/5 (20/6/2016)
257. In The Heart Of The Sea
Was too technical at times. Well, most of the time. But I mean, it was a film about the sea. Quite liked it. The CGI was a bit weird at times though. And I have yet to see a film where Tom Holland actually speaks sentences. Seen him in The Impossible and he didn't talk much in there either.
2,5/5 (19/6/2016)
256. The Do Over
Well, was a so so story. Sandler looked hot in that leather jacket. I like them two guys. Kathryn Hahn is good.
1,5/5 (17/6/2016)
255. Burnt
This was too intense for my liking. I liked Chef better. I liked Miller and Thompson.
1,5/5 (10/6/2016)
254. Epic
Well I wtached this over many nights so I can't give a valid rating. It was very predictable. Wish it had been a little more original. Plus Ronin thing was incomplete, he was left without a woman. And MK's and her dude's relationship was kinda doomed aswell. Beyonce has a very lovely talking voice.
2/5 (7/6/2016)
253. Zootopia
Wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I wanted more kid friendly not this educating stuff. I mean it was good and everything but I was expecting something... yeah more childlike.
2/5 (28/5/2016)
252. Freeheld
This made me uncomfortable at times. Maybe I'm a homophobe. Tbh the lesbian equality thing didn't really interest me in the movie. I was more moved when the woman got the promotion. Was a lovely story but it didn't move me that much on the whole.
2/5 (22/5/2016)
251. Bleed
Well I either didn't watch the film properly or there were quite a few loose ends. What happened to the asian woman? And I think I've seen several pregnancy scary films. It's getting kinda old for me. Started out okay but the characters were boring, didn't connect with any of them. I just didn't get it or like it in particular.
1,5/5 (22/5/2016)
250. The Lady In The Van
Well this was pretty much what I expected. My mother tells me sometimes I have to think about my elderhood (what with me being unable to work). This film reminded me of that and made me scared about the future. I hope I don't have to live like that. The winters are far too cold in my country and I love showers.2/5 (20/5/2015)
249. Band Of Robbers
Ah Gallner. Cute. So...this kind of take on the tale. Was alright.
2/5 (20/5/2016)
248. Krampus
I read some place it was supposed to be bad. Yeah it wasn't. It wasn't good either. It would have been better if it had been a flat out family christmas movie or a horror one. Toni Colette is love.
1,5/5 (19/5/2016)
247. Jack And The Cuckoo Clock Heart
Hmm...I think if it had been done differently I would have liked it. I didn't like the art style or the music. Plus the whole things was sort of quixotic. I dunno what kind of person you have to be to level with wthe film on the emotional level. It's just impossible.
1/5 (18/5/2016)
246. Boychoir
Watched it cause of McHale. Yeah so basically this was a story about a boy whose balls dropped. I didn't feel emotionally connected to the film, though the singing was lovely. I like classical music and have listened to it a great deal but never choir music really. It was a little cliched.
1,5/5 (16/5/2016)
245. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
It was so so. The film got waaay ahead of itself. There was no anticipation or excitement, everything was laid out too easily and quickly. Maybe it's suitable for kids under ten.
1,5/5 (14/5/2016)
244. Goosebumps
Loved it. I hope there'll be a sequel. I had to look up the dude's age to make the next comment - Ryan Lee's cute. I thought he was like 16 or something. Plus Jack Black! Love.
3,5/5 (11/5/2016)
243. Another Earth
I thought it was gonna be action and more sci fi. Wasn't expecting a drama. But it was a cute (?) story. The end was lovely. But the very end was a little confusing. It just got interesting and then it ended. Boo!
2,5/5 (7/5/2016)
242. A Walk In The Woods
Watched this over several nights before going to sleep. Most of it was boring to me. It only got a little interesting when they guys fell down the cliff thingy. It was well done and nothing bothered me but it was just boring and unrelatable. It was uneventful even.
1,5/5 (4/5/2016)
241. Grave Of The Fireflies
Okay watched this cause it was supposed to be sad. It wasn't. But it made me feel very uncomfortable, almost sick. Definitely a masterpiece. Unfortunate story.
3,5/5 (25/4/2016)
240. The Croods
Watched it with the fam. Was on TV. I dunno who the makers are but it feels like the next generation of Ice Age. Meaning no one will become extinct. Well, none of the main characters. I think I have to watch it quite a few time before I really like it. Right now it was just okay.
1,5/5 (23/4/2016)
239. Cake
Well I didn't understand a thing about it. I read the plot after the film to understand it. The pain thing was very prominent in the film and was very fathomable and felt strongly.
2/5 (2/4/2016)
238. Get A Job
Well, Kendrick and Teller are cute people and okay actors but they couldn't save this non-story. Very uneventful. Why did they show successful women as sluts though?
1,5/5 (1/4/2016)
237. Klassikokkutulek
Watched with the fam. Was supposed to go to the cinema with mum but yeah... Well I gotta say that Estonians suck at singing. We're big into singing eventhough we can't. But we sure as hell can make great movies. Except this one. I mean it was well done but the story itself and the characters were too american. It was like Hangover or 21
1/5 (25/3/2016)
236. Pan
I can't sat I particularly liked it. The British accent really threw me off. I've complained about it time and time again.
1,5/5 (20/3/2016)
235. Love The Coopers
Well, was a pretty generic Christmas film. Can't say I liked it all that much. Wasn't special enough for me. I liked the policeman actor.
1,5/5 (2/3/2016)
234. Moonwalkers
Well, was a little different. Probably downloaded it cause of my former crush, Grint. I liked, like in some other review that I said it, how there was no bullshit talking and people got to firing their guns right then and there. Liked the Kidman character. Although I never figured out his hallucinations. Cause of war? Or to propagate drugs?
2,5/5 (29/2/2016)
232. Spiderman 2
It had the grandmother or whoever she was, plus the Mary Jane storyline, plus relationship with best friend but it was all shallow. Not sincere and emotional enough for me. Didn't tickle my feels. And I don't care too much about the superhero stuff. Downloaded when I was still into Franco. I thought he was gonna die in this one.
2/5 (2/2/2016)
231. Trainwreck
Oh god. The leading lady was a horrible character. Hader's character was pretty sweet. Made him likeable, not that I particularly disliked him before.
2/5 (24/2/2016)
230. Guest House Paradiso
This film made me feel nervous. The way one of the main characters was always nervous rubbed off on me. And this film has got to be a nightmare for someone with emetophobia, aka me. :D It was alright though. The film itself, not so much.
1,5/5 (21/2/2016)
229. The Pretty One
Hm, pretty morbid. I kinda liked it although the the morbidity made the film depressing.
2,5/5 (17/2/2016)
228. The Shaggy Dog
Saw some familiar faces. I was hoping for a more powerful climax. Allen was pleasurable as always.
2/5 (15/2/2016)
227. Aloha
Ah, finally a film with Mr Emily Blunt. Yeah I had no idea what was going on in the film. I didn't get the launch thing. What was it? Like what!? Plus military theme isn't my kinda thing. Emma Stone was great when she was in the uniform.
1,5/5 (31/12016)
226. The Five Year Engagement
Ehh. I'm not really a fan of Segel. I didn't mind the story but I would have preferred someone else play the male lead. Emily Blunt is painfully beautiful!
1,5/5 (28/1/2016)
225. Mr. Peabody & Sherman
Ah. Great stuff. The funness of a cartoon and the interestingness of a sci-fi flick! Plus Allison Janney and Lake Bell!
3/5 (26/1/2016)
224. Hoodwinked
Well the story was okay but I really didn't like the visual part of it.
1,5/5 (24/1/2016)
223. Home Fries
Kinda weird and silly. What was the point of it? At least the actors were young and beautiful.
1,5/5 (20/1/2016)
222. The Martian
This thing got interesting when people got out of the space shuttles. Other than that...hmm. It was too technical and far fetched for me. I love the Earth!
2,5/5 (19/1/2016)
221. Ponyo
Whoa whoa whoa! I didn't really get the idea of it. And found it a little incestuous!? Like, at the end when it was clear the boy's mother was gonna raise the girl and then they kissed!? Plus, I found it a little disturbing that kids this young were caught in a love trial. But other than that it was good.
3,5/5 (16/1/2016)
220. Bad Roomies
Oh god, what a load of crap. Emotionally loose and overall boringly mundane.
0,5/5 (14/1/2016)
219. Bachelorette
Nothing really happened in it, did it now? I hated the three friends characters. Lowlife bitches.
1,5/5 (14/1/2016)
218. True Story
Oh dear. This made me feel a little uncomfortable. Like, how can you actually kill someone!? This is scary. I really should stop watching films based on real life.
2/5 (12/1/2016)
217. The Impossible
When I saw it the first time a few years back I was fine. This time I kept tearing up throughout the film. Damn! So glad they're all okay. Fucking natural catastrophes!
3/5 (12/1/2016)
216. Milk
Well I obviously had downloaded this for Franco. Was interesting enough, if I can pass this sort of judgment to Mr. Milk's life. I mean... it was too political. And I just find politics the most boring subject ever. But he seemed like a good person who did a lot of good for gay people.
2,5/5 (10/1/2016)
215. The New Guy
This was quite a bit like Get Hard. Except it wasn't as good.
1,5/5 (10/1/2015)
214. The Pyramid
Okay, this looks like a low budget thing. Unfortunately it's not that good. Good filmmakers can turn shit to gold even on a low budget. I just didn't like the emotional bits in it. Like someone died and it was the end of the world, like "Waaaah, I can't believe he's dead... Oh look! A writing on the wall!" and then they forgot all about the death til the next person died. Very weird. Speaking of weird... what the hell was up with he ending? Very unnecessary.
1,5/5 (8/1/2015)
213. The Parent Trap
Well this one's a classic. A good one as well.
4,5/5 (7/1/2016)
212. The Tale of Princess Kaguya
What a sad story. One big what could have been. She was blessed with sadness.
3,5/5 (7/1/2016)
211. Spy
Ah. The start was kinda boring. But it got interesting in the middle and was unpredictable til the end. Liked it a lot.
3/5 (31/12/2015)
210. Paprika
Good stuff but too complicated for my pea brain.
3/5 (30/12/2015)
209. Whip it
Hm... I guess I liked it. I mean I wasn't into the skating but the story was cute. When everything turned to shit it was kinda a natural progress. The cast was a surprise.
2,5/5 (28/12/2015)
208. Galaxy Quest
I thought at the start that this was gonna suck but it was, to me, unpredictable. So it was interesting. And Weaver was so beautiful as a sexy babe. And Tim Allen!!! He's the reason I watched it, wasn't disappointed. The alien race was so cute and innocent.
2,5/5 (28/12/2015)
207. 90 Minutes In Heaven
This film was very unpleasant. It was good in the way it made feel a certain way - unpleasant. It filled me with angst when it showed the man in pain. If I had known prior to watching it what it was about I wouldn't have watched it, cause it was too negative. But the heaven part made me feel hope, like... what if there really is heaven and all your problems will go away!? It didn't make me religious or anything.
3/5 (27/12/2015)
206. Home Alone 5
Well this was bland. Give it a half a point for not irritating me.
0,5/5 (25/12/2015)
205. Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind
Well, this is pretty much the same as Mononoke Hime. Although I liked MH better. This one had too much action in it. But was a masterpiece nonetheless.
4/5 (25/12/2015)
204. The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad
Wow! I think I blogged about this one once before. I actually found the film that scared the shit out of me as a kid. I lived in Võhma at the time which means I was about five or younger. I got scared and asked my mum to come into the living room where I was watching it. I sat on her lap and watched the scary bits through my fingers. All I could remember of it was the cyclops, the egg and roasting of a man. And now I've found it.
2/5 (23/12/2015)
203. Alice In Wonderland
I found it disturbing. I think I didn't like the characters. It was well done and everything but yeah... not for me.
1,5/5 (16/12/2015)
202. The Little Prince
This looked like a good one when I saw the trailer. Took my nights to finish. I guess I liked the idea behind it. Reminded me of The Catcher In The Rye. But this wasn't as good as the book. It was very well done but I wasn't feeling it.
1,5/5 (15/12/2015)
201. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
A great film. I really got that book-y vibe which I liked. I would have liked it better without the narrator. I'd like the movie itself narrate the story. Great acting too, except the boy, he wasn't that good. But all is goof.
2,5/5 (11/12/2015)
200. Fun With Dick And Jane
Half a bonus point for Carrey. The story was too criminal, didn't think it was gonna be like that. But the solution was positive and surprising.
2,5/5 (6/12/2015)
199. Leap Year
Ugh. I hate those American film that show foreign countries as countryside. Like, yeah there is no countryside in America and there are no cities besides US. Plus after seeing the Haylie... ? Duff films I'm sick of the main man in the film being a serious dick. Plus it was so predictable!
1,5/5 (6/12/2015)
198. Hotel Transylvania 2
Okay. I don't like big time jumps in movies. Luckily by the end of the film I had forgotten about it. I don't even know if I like the first one or this one better.
2/5 (2/12/2015)
197. Friends With Kids
I wasn't feeling the actors/actresses. The story was very predictable. A mindless sight.
1,5/5 (28/11/2015)
196. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
I didn't like the angst it made me feel. But it was good though. Til the big shooting scene at the end. Too much action. I can't remember much about the first film but... whatever. I just don't know what this film is about. The end of the world?
2,5/5 (24/11/2015)
195. The Houses October Built
This thing was pretty much hour and a half of people wearing masks. Boring. And I'm not really feeling films where the characters film the story.
0/5 (23/11/2015)
194. 5 Seconds Of Summer - How Did We End Up Here? Live At Wembley Arena
Well, I didn't really learn anything new about the boys but was great seeing their live concert on a video.
3/5 (22/11/2015)
193. Ted 2
I liked this one more than the first one. What I didn't like was the glorification of drugs. Ted reminds me of Paul in Paul. It's kinda been done for me now.
192. The Taking Of Deborah Logan
This was pretty solid. The head eating thing was a bit disturbing. Was hooked all the way through.
3/5 (21/11/2015)
191. Hats Off To Christmas
Okay, this is my last Hayley Duff film. Thought I was done with the last one but found this on my laptop as well. Anyway, why does she play the same type of character in every film!? She likeable but change it up a bit! And I don't like Christmas films without snow.
1,5/5 (20/11/2015)
190. 3 Geezers!
First, what a misleading cover/poster! I watched it cause of Allen. Yeah... he was in it for about a minute or less. But luckily Simmons was in it. I like him. It wasn't actually horrible. Was different. I'd definitely give it a higher rating than it has on IMDB.
2/5 (13/11/2015)
189. Read It And Weep
Yeah, I've said before I like mindless films but this one was too much. And I'm definitely waaaay too old for this stuff. With films like these I get so annoyed when "old friends" complain about their friend's success or "changing". Life isn't static okay! Everything and everyone changes constantly.
1,5/5 (8/11/2015)
188. Nanny McPhee Returns
For the first half of the film I kept comparing which film is better, the first or the second. And I honestly can't tell. They're both so sincere and good. I really li8ked the voice of the Miss Topsey actress.
3/5 (7/11/2015)
187. Bernie
Ugh this film was so uncomfortable too. Like... why did he have to kill her!? He seemed such a nice person but the killing was so horrible. Yes the woman was a major bitch but ugh. I hate to think that it was a real thing. I read the man got out of prison, hopefully he has a good life ahead of him, he deserves it.
2,5/5 (5/11/2015)
186. The D Train
Can't understand the low rating on this. I thought it was decent. Maybe I'm a homophobe or something cause I found the obsession with Lawless uncomfortable. It was just weird. Kathryn Hahn is a cutie, I like her. Watched it cause of Black. He's great.
2,5/5 (4/11/2015)
185. Home Alone
A classic. I know we get this on TV around Christmas but I couldn't wait that long.
5/5 (3/11/2015)
184. The Sixth Sense
Thanks to the great asshole Shane Dawson I knew the man was a ghost too before watching the film. The kid was good. I didn't like the realization bit though, when the man found out he was a ghost. It wasn't profound enough for me but it could've been cause I knew he was a spirit. Damn the Dawson. Toni Colette was sooooo young!
2/5 (31/10/2015)
183. Get Hard
This wasn't particularly funny. I liked it cause the story line, to me, was original. Yeah have nothing else to say. Was okay for one time.
1,5/5 (31/10/2015)
182. Beautiful Creatures
Okay the boy and the girl definitely didn't pass as teenagers. Viola Davis is so good. So was Emmy Rossum. When previously I had disliked her then she was great in this one. Emma Thompson is always great too. Plus a little eyecandy, Gallner.
2/5 (29/10/2015)
181. Inside Out
I thought it was gonna be better. I think it's too technical for kids. I liked it though, even though I was expecting something different.
2,5/5 (27/10/2015)
180. Naughty And Nice
Ugh, the guy just irked me. he was not likable at all. Dunno if it's him himself or the character. And this should be my last Hailey Duff film. I don't like these tropical Christmas movies. I wanna see snow and families instead of sunshine and amorous love.
1,5/5 (24/10/2015)
178. Kingsman: The Secret Service
Ahh. This one was full of Brittish accent and I didn't mind at all. I was really surprised I liked it. It was actually really good. The fighting scenes were great. I felt a bit weird about the...Harry? guy being killed but the film redeemed itself.
3/5 (19/10/2015)
177. Take Care
Was too static for my liking. All I gathered from the film was the man was an asshole.
1,5/5 (16/10/2015)
176. Pixels
Ugh... it looked like half assed disaster film. I'm not sure if I was feeling it. Had I watched this alone I wouldn't have made it to the end of it.
1,5/5 (13/10/2015)
175. Sabrina, The Teenage Witch
Great show. Except the first half and the middle of season 7. I really liked the aunt characters so it was weird they were cut out. And I'm glad Sabrina ended up with Harvey.
3/5 (13/10/2015)
174. Slightly Single in L.A.
Was okay. Not that funny though but a solid little storyline.
2/5 (11/10/2015)
173. Muffin Top: A Love Story
I was kinda hoping for something better. It wasn't a disaster but I wasn't feeling it.
1,5/5 (9/10/2015)
172. Man Up
Ahh, Pegg!!! And Bell!!! Eventhough I didn't like her character that much. Too calculating.
3/5 (9/10/2015)
171. Cow Belles
Great, more pun! This wasn't actually that bad. I like the girls, especially Amanda. He singing voice is the bomb but that's besides the point. The only thing I didn't like was the Trevino guy. Nothing against him personally but he reminded me of the.... chick so I felt uncomfortable whenever he was on the screen. Oh and if I had taken the job at the dairy farm I'm sure I would've liked this film a lot more.
2,5/5 (8/10/2015)
170. All About Christmas Eve
Okay they gotta stop with the name puns. It wasn't any better than Christmas Belle. It wasn't as much a Christmas story as much it was a love story. Kinda superficial.
1,5/5 (/10/2015)
169. Christmas Belle
Oh god. I really didn't think this was gonna be this romantic. I hated the romantic music throughout the film and the beating around the bush of the couple's love. And there was nothing Christmassy about it.
2/5 (1/10/2015)
168. Interstellar
Wow and I thought Gravity was trippy. I definitely gotta watch this film again with someone more clever than me cause at times I didn't understand what was going on. It was very good til the point where the man was chucking books. But after that it got good again. Plus points for Grace and Burstyn. McConaughey wa great.
4/5 (29/8/2015)
167. Cuban Fury
Call me a racist bitch but this film had two things I don't like - british accent and salsa music. Actually the I didn't even notice the accent since there was too much salsa in it and my whole negativity was focused on that. I like Nick Frost though. O'Dowd played a really iritating character.
2/5 (28/9/2015)
166. Cadet Kelly
Ah this is the mindles Hilary Duff films I usually like. This one, not so much. Too military-like for me. The end of it kinda half saved the film, most of it was boring and a bit cringeworthy.
1/5 (26/9/2015)
165 .National Lampoon's European Vacation
Well, can't say it was good. The events weren't that eventful. Just... the story was weak, nothing really happened. Very shallow.
1,5/5 (19/9/2015)
164. Goodnight Mommy
What exactly was this film about? I dunno tbh. How did the mother's surgery combine with the rest of the story? It wasn't scary or exciting or anything but pretty watchable eventhough I didn't ge the point of it.
1,5/5 (17/9/2015)
163. Big Eyes
I expected better. The woman's weakness was sort of... not irritating but a lesser feeling than that. Men are pigs!
1,5/5 (16/9/2015)
162. Tomorrowland
Hm, it wasn't what I expected. I kinda liked it and kinda didn't. Think it was too technical or futuristci for my liking.
2/5 (15/9/2015)
161. The Wedding Ringer
Well it was original. I kinda thought the end was rushed and incomplete though.
2/5 (13/9/2015)
160. Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
I'm not sure if I've seen all of the parts of it but this one was pretty great. Lovely finale to the whole thing. Maybe it was a little too simple but it worked anyway.
2,5/5 (10/9/2015)
159. Melancholia
I guess this was supposed to be artsy. It was like... good and everything but just waaaaaaaaaayyyy tooooo serious for me. I was just waiting the whole film for the planets to collide. I think, no I know I like those thriller/action disaster films more where a bunch of amerians save the world.
3/5 (6/9/2015)
158. Beethoven
This is a classic right!? I've obviously seen it before but I liked it anyway and would watch it again.
3/5 (4/9/2015)
157. Home
I thought this wan gonna be shit. But it wasn't, was pretty solid. I liked the girl and Oh. The only thing I didn't like was the Rihanna overload. Seriously, I'm sure everyone gets that it's Rihanna, no need to overdo it.
3/5 (24/8/2015)
156. My Fake Fiancé
Watched this for Hart, over a quite a few nights. I had seen it before but didn't remember how exactly the story played out. Um... was so so. They guy kinda didn't seem plausible. The story was too... I don't even know the word. It kinda revolved around this one topic, money, too much. There wasn't enough story development or even tiny nuances that would have made a big difference.
2/5 (16/8/2015)
155. Nine Dead
Read some reviews, were mostly bad. I thought it was rather good. I mean, the story that was revealed wasn't that interesting but it was good nevertheless. It showed the killer was a humane person, eventhough he murdered people. I watched it in the forst place cause of Hart. Am watching Sbrina at the moment, wanted to see her in a different role.
2,5/5 (8/8/2015)
154. The Babadook
Thought it was pretty solid until the end happened. Like, what!? I didn't get it. Was it the father who wanted them? What did he want from them? What's with the bowl of worms? I just didn't get it.
2/5 (1/8/2015)
153. San Andreas Quake
Oh lord, where do I even begin? Found out about it when searching for San Andreas. Saw a lot of angry comments about it. Thought people were just pissed cause they mixed up the films but my god! I love a disaster film but this was pure shit. The CGI were so bad! Especially the hippo part. Like what the fuck!? The only good bit in the film was when the lady with her daughter took the main characters' car. And why is there "The world, split in two" written on the poster? It was just LA, far from the whole world.
1/5 (31/7/2015)
152. Kill Me Three Times
Ah yes! I just love Simon Pegg!!! I was already ranting in my head when I thought he was killed off again. Weirdly enough this film was sorta light hearted. What I really liked about it there wasn't any long mumbo jumbo before shooting someone. They just flat out did it. Much more... enjoyable. And the British accent didn't bother me in this one.
2,5/5 (24/7/2015)
151. Cinderella
I vaguely remembered what this story was about. I liked how the Cinderella character wasn't sickeningly goody goody. And I like how the mean sisters weren't exaggeratingly ugly. My fave part was when the coach turned into a pumpkin. It escalated very nicely. Plus I liked the lullaby.
2/5 (15/7/2015)
150. Paranorman
Ahh, visually a masterpiece!!! The story was a bit too morbid for me. But I still liked it very much.
3,5/5 (13/7/2015)
149. 3 Times A Charm
This looked like a kids' version of Edge Of Tomorrow. A softcore version of serious mind fuck. I really don't like the kids'... filter on these kindsa films. The mother business was cute though.
2/5 (12/7/2015)
148. The Help
Was a lovely little film. I definitely got the feel that it was based on a book. I haven't read the book but I have a feeling it's better than the film. It sucks that times like these have existed but... to me, it still doesn't excuse the fact that black people have their own "community" nowadays. Wtf!?
2/5 (10/7/2015)
147. The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
What can I say? Was a lovely film but not as good as I was hoping. I liked the Harry Potter lady's character. Was refreshing to see mature love lives for a change. Oh and I also saw Slumdog Millionaire. Is there always dancing in films about India?
2/5 (9/7/2015)
146. Dumb And Dumber To
I had a fear this might be a bit banal. Don't even know why. But... it wasn't. It was rather cute and benignant.
2,5/5 (4/7/2015)
145. Back To The Future Part 3
Another great piece. Think I like the first one best, then this and then the second one. The final word of Doc kinda make all of the films' plots useless though.
3/5 (26/6/2015)
144. America's Sweethearts
I liked that a Dire Straits song was used in it. Didn't like Zeta-Jones. Seemed out of place. Roberts was cute.
1,5/5 (22/6/2015)
143. Back To The Future Part 2
Not as good as the first one. Got a little confusing at times.
2/5 (18/6/2015)
142. 1944
I only watched it cause Lembit wanted to see it. Watched it with the fam. I didn't really understand what was going on most of the time. Luckily my mother liked to comment during the film, that heped me keep track.
2,5/5 (18/6/2015)
141. Back To The Future
Well, it's a classic. And a good one too.
3/5 (15/6/2015)
140. Whiplash
This was again the kind of film I was itching to see. Simmons was great. I can't remember what it was when I saw him first but I've liked him every film I've seen him in. Teller is cute.
2/5 (9/6/2015)
139. The Duff
This reminded me of Not Cool. Only it was better and not as cheesy. Wasn't my fave but I reckon I'd watch it again.
2/5 (8/6/2015)
138. Strange Magic
Well, this certainly was different. Visually it was pleasing. Story wise, too. But for some reason, again, it wasn't binding enough for me.2/5 (7/6/2015)
137. Frenemies
I'm definitely not the demographic for this one! I liked the geek vs chic part most. Then the dog
1,5/5 (6/6/2015)
136. Project Almanac
Had wanted to see this one for a long time. It wasn't as good as espected. Think it was a tad too technical and not humane/emotional enough.
1,5/5 (1/6/2015)
135. Love, Rosie
British English again! For the last three movies I've seen. Anyway, moving past that. I didn't like the time frame it took place in. Too many years. Maybe it works for a book but not so much for a film. Plus, the guy was too old for a teen and the girl was too young to be in her thirties. I don't really ike these romance films. I thought it was gonna be a funny one about young people but no. Was a good thing for one time but I won't make a habit out of these romance films.
3/5 (30/5/2015)
134. Men, Women & Children
First, I'd like to rename the film from most important to no important - Children, Women & Men. There! Now this looked like a little 13 Going On 30 reunion. Gah, I cannot watch Garner in such a horrible role when I already don't like her as it is. Also, J.K Simmons is great. But I watched the film solely cause of Dever. Was quite a good film eventhough they could have pulled some loose ends together better.
3/5 (29/5/2015)
133. Paddington
This, again, probably makes a racist but I just cannot take films seriously that have British english in them. It just ruins the film for me. This one had such great potential. I wish the bear had had a more childlike voice.
1,5/5 (27/5/2015)
132. It Follows
Damn, I was hoping for there not to be an open ending. I don't really like these kinda movies cause... well, there's no point in the film like that. No lesson to be learned or a story to be told. But I made my own conclusions. I'm gonna be simple and say the film was about sexually transmitted diseases. I didn't get the point of The Idiot reciting so...STDs it is. And a lot of love for the soundtrack!!!
3/5 (26/5/2015)
131. Crimes Of Fashion
Well, Kaley was the best thing about this movie. It was really cursory. Everything happened really quickly and easily without deeper thought or emotion.
2/5 (25/5/2015)
130. The Voices
Fuck. I thought this was gonna be a comedy. It was too... oppressive. Too negative.
2/5 (21/5/2015)
129. The Book Of Life
I thought it would be better. It was an interesting story, the kind of story I like but for some reason... something was missing. Maybe if I watch it at some other time.
2/5 (20/5/2015)
128. Why Stop Now
I don't understand the correlation between the title and the film. Maybe if I tried a little harder I'd find it but the film wasn't that good so I won't even try. I don't really like the actor Jesse Eisenberg. He talks like he's constantly nervous. It's his voice and body language. The good thing was, it was a little different. Haven't seen a film yet where this sort of plot takes place.
1,5/5 (11/5/2015)
127. Top Five
Well, I guess I'm not the perfect demographis of this film. I have no idea what the top five thing meant. I had no idea who the people were who they were naming. The first hour of the film was pretty boring and unlikable. Now I wouldn't call myself racist but I really don't like these communities and shits. Just be normal people. If you're black it doesn't mean you have to hang out with black people only. Ugh.
1,5/5 (9/5/2015)
126. Earth To Echo
I don't even know what got me hooked when I watched the trailer. And I don't even know who the film suits. Maybe 10 year old boys. It was kinda even more childish than Pixar cartoons.
1,5/5 (8/5/2015)
125. Gulliver's Travels
Out of all the Jack Black films I've seen I like this the least. I don't even know why cause the story has great postential. And it was nice to see Emily Blunt and Amanda Peet, the beauties. Not sure if I'd watch it again.
1,5/5 (7/5/2015)
124. Wild
I read some place that this was a female version of Into The Wild. And it pretty much was. Only I like Alexander Supertramp more. It was more raw and real. And I can relate to the insanity more. The mother in Wild was a great character. Other than that I felt like I had seen it before and was a bit boring.
1,5/5 (5/5/2015)
123. Chef
2/5 (27/4/2015)
122. Horrible Bosses 2
This one was too much focusing on the crime. The first one was a bit more humane. The humor was the same.
1,5/5 (20/4/2015)
121. Mr. Turner
Well, that was a quality film. As expected. I can't actually really comment on it since it was a biography. Great acting by everyone and... just all around well done. Eventhough I don't like serious films.
3/5 (13/4/2015)
120. Life Partners
This film made me uncomfortable. It was cause of Meester's character. She was weird. It was lifelike and relatable I guess. And I also guess there was no point to the film, it was just a little story.
1/5 (11/4/2015)
119. Backcountry
False advertising! I was into the film and feeling it cause I thought it was based on a true story like it misleadingly said at the start. But the end changed my stance on the film. Boo!
2/5 (6/4/2015)
118. A Merry Friggin' Christmas
Boring. Nothing really happened in it.
0,5/5 (4/4/2015)
117. The Maze Runner
Well, was okay for the most of them time. I didn't get bored or anything, had a good going. But I didn't ike the end. It kinda demands you to watch the next film when it comes out. Yeah... I don't like to be told what to do.
2,5/5 (2/4/2015)
116. 21 Jump Street
Ah, seen it about a hundred times. This one's definitely better than the sequel. Easy mindless watch.
2,5/5 (1/4/2015)
115. Dear White People
Hmm... well to be honest, I didn't understand the film. At all. It was very inexpressive. Was happy to see Kyle Gallner though. Oh and I found the soundtrack misplaced and odd, especially the classical music.
0,5/5 (1/4/2015)
114. The Cobbler
I was hoping it would be funnier. Or the story more interesting. This film was basically about saving a neighbourhood. It was clever though. Although the end was a bit weird. What's the use of all the shoes if the people are already dead? The father bit was sweet though.
2/5 (24/3/2015)
113. Ask Me Anything
Huh...well, I must say... it got a little boring for a while in the middle there. And I did become judgemental of the girl cause she wasn't just sleeping around which would be okay but she was going after taken men. Whore indeed. Watched it mainly cause of Britt Robertson. My god, she's pretty! The ending was very undsettling.
2/5 (22/3/2015)
112. Glee
Weeeeeelll... thank god this gay monstrosity is over! Glee made me hate gays and music. Luckily I'm strong enough person to let it only happen to me while I watched the show, in general I don't care about homosexuals and love music. I'll give it half a point for the music, which was rather good and for Kevin McHale who's fault it is that I had to watch the show.
0,5/5 (21/3/2015)
111. That '70s Show
Waaahhh, can't believe it's finished. I've seen the show about bajillion times, own the seasons 4-7. Yeah it's just totally my fave next to Home Improvement. I tihkn the eighth season was really solid, eventhough the main character was gone. I really liked Randy. It's all just...perfect!
5/5 (18/3/2015)
110. The First Time
Watched it cause of Robertson. She's cute. The film? Predictable. This film is perfect for virgin teenage girls.
Since I'm not one, I didn't enjoy it as much. I thought it lacked fluidity. Like, one second their conversation was on point and then the next they were acting all awkward.
1,5/5 (11/3/2015)
109. The Other Woman
I had to take so many pauses when watching this film. Just didn't rope me in. I mean I'm all about girl power but I thought the end was a bit pathetic. I was expecting a bit more emotional strain to the man. Money is just money.
1,5/5 (10/3/2014)
108. Third Person
Yet another James Franco flick. Okay, I don't understand who these kindsa films are made for. They're not entertaining nor are they interesting. The Olivia Wilde thing was just plainly excruciating. Like, if this is love them people are idiots. It was irritatingly chaoitc. Plus, there wasn't enough Franco in it and his character was an ass.
1,5/5 (10/3/2015)
107. Poseidon
Liked it. The only bad thing was it was too intense at times :D A person must really know a ship to write a story like this.
2,5/5 (7/3/2015)
106. Volcano
My kinda film again. I would have liked it more had it been a global issue. I have no clue about volcanoes and their dangerousness but the film seemed to exaggerate the thing. I highly doubt that buildings would randomly explode if lava hit them.
3/5 (6/3/2015)
105. Hall Pass
Yeah I don't like Sudeikis. He just irks me. Maybe it's just the characters he plays but he's just annoyingly obnoxious. The film was so so on the not so good side.
1,5/5 (26/2/2015)
104. Deep Impact
Ahh, I just love movies like that! In a few scenes I remembered I had seen the film before but didn't remember that much.
2,5/5 (24/2/2015)
103. Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day
I quite liked it. These positive familial films are great. I even liked Garner in it. I'm sure I'll watch it again some time.
3,5/5 (24/2/2015)
102. Going The Distance
Ugh. I felt really uncomfortable for the most of the film. I have this thing with Drew Barrymore where I feel like she doesn't fit into a film/story/situation. The only film she has felt right for, for me, was Blended. But this film... didn't fit the character. And what was even worse was the guy. Oh god, he made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I don't know what it was. Maybe he looks like someone I've dated, maybe he was too good of an actor, maybe he wasn't a good enough actor. Dunno. But it was just uncomfortable.
2/5 (23/2/2015)
101. Sex Ed
The story was too simple for my liking. Don't they have basic sex ed in America? Wasn't funny or interesting in particular but nothing really rubbed me the wrong way either.
1,5/5 (19/2/2015)
100. The Lords Of Salem
99. When In Rome
Hm, boring and predictible. I lik Kristen Bell though. Didn't really feel the guy in this film. Plus the storylines with the other men were poor.
1/5 (18/2/2015)
98. Child Of God
What a sick ass film. The acting was good but the story itself was repulsive. Sick psycho. I don't think it shows what extreme loneliness or whatever does to you, it was just psychotic. And I see As I Lay Dying men were in this film aswell.
2/5 (16/2/2015)
97. The Brass Teapot
I would have loved even more magic. But great story nevertheless.
3,5/5 (12/2/2015)
96. Hector And The Search For Happiness
2/5 (12/2/2015)
95. The Cabin In The Woods
Okay, this wasn't funny, scary or gory. Just a big blah.
0,5/5 (8/2/2015)
94. Into The Woods
Let's just say I don't like musicals. I knew this was one before wtaching it. Well, I didn't like the singing too
much, liked the talking bits a lot more. At times I liked how the different stories were entwined, other times
they didn't seem to fit that well. I didn't like the wolf bit. Like a pedophile much!? Then the prince's destiny was sort of odd. And what's with the killing of a cheating wife? Why not kill the cheating prince aswell. Emily Blunt was the best part of the whole thing.
2/5 (7/2/2015) 93. Howl's Moving Castle
Well, apparently this is based on a book. Written by a writer whose first name is Diana. This is as close to Hayao Miyazaki as I'm gonna get.
4,5/5 (5/2/2015)
92. Big Hero 6
Well, I didn't read about the film before watching it. Should have. I'm really not into this superhero crap. It was very well done and pleasing to the eye but ugh...superhero schwuperhero.
1,5/5 (4/2/2015)
91. This Is Where I Leave You
Boring! I didn't feel any connection with the characters or their situations.
1,5/5 (1/2/2015)
90. Sex And The City 2
Was pretty solid. Still very much like the series. And I still hate Carrie. Such a stupid immature and selfish brat. Was a nice theme in the desert and everything. Luckily the ignorance of Samantha didn't bother me since they saved the movie from horrible racism with Miranda's cleverness and humbleness.
4,5/5 (30/1/2015)
89. That's What I Am
I don't really like films with too much voice overs. This film had plenty and more. And all this bullying and gay business is just tiring and it's all because of Glee. I don't wanna hear another word about it. Unfortunately the film experience was ruined by the stupid ass bullshittery that is the nauseating TV show. If I had started the film on a blank page it would've been quite cute and sweet and great.
2/5 (28/1/2015)
88. White Bird In A Blizzard
Well, watched it cause of Woodley. And boy did I see her in the movie! She has very nice boobs and lovely hair. The film itself got interesting at the very last minutes of it. I guess it was trying to be all raw and shit but it seemed disingenuous really. Yeah and it was too serious and dragging.
1,5/5 (27/1/2015)
87. The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
Well, I expected a scary film. Didn't get one. Gory is not the same as scary. Wasn't feeling the acting of the "monsters". Just because they were so called outcasts doesn't mean they all become vengeful and violent. And I wasn't feeling the fact that no matter how badly someone got hit, stabbed or shot they still kept going as if nothing had happened to them.
1,5/5 (26/1/2015)
86. The Makeover
Well, Stiles is one of my favourite actresses. But I didn't like the film. Mainly cause it was about politics. Secondly, I wasn't feeling the guy for some reason.
1,5 (15/1/2015)
85. 50/50
Well, I was hoping for something more raw and emotional. The overall positivity of the film made it a little boring. I was expecting a bit more drama. Seth Rogen is adorable but this character was an ass. He should've butted out of Adam's romantic life. Or I dunno....maybe that's how friendships work, dunno don't have one.
2/5 (14/1/2015)
84. Sonny
Hmm...James Franco and sex? Yes please. It wasn't that interesting as far as the story goes. Sonny and Carol's relationship was cute.
2/5 (13/1/2015)
83. As I Lay Dying
Again, I had put this off since I was afraid it was gonna suck. And again, it didn't. I mean normally I would never watch a film like that, that serious but yeah... James. It was watchable but the language was a little hard for me to follow (thank the Internet for subtitles). Yeah and... did Dewey get her abortion then or not?! This again was a good one time watch.
2,5/5 (12/1/2015)
82. The Land Of The Lost
Well, I just like Danny McBride. And the story was alright too. The film was silly but not mindlessly pathetic. Well done.
2,5/5 12/1/2015
81. Spider-Man
Well, I know there are more than one film to it but I'd have thought the individual films would be more conclusive. Watched it only for Franco. Not my kinda film.
1,5/5 (11/1/2015)
80. Epic Movie
0/5 (11/1/2015)
79. Sex And The City: The Movie
Well...I dunno the crew behind the film and the series but the film was very much like the tv show. It's well written. I like the sex theme but ugh...Carrie has got to be the most childish woman ever. I just really reeeaaalllly dislike her. I don't mind the others at all. Yeah, seen it before but it was a good watch and will probably watch it again some time in the future.
3,5/5 (7/1/2015)
78. Home Improvement
Ahhh, so sad that I'm finished watching it. I've obviously seen it several times. Just today's the day when I finished watching all of the episodes in a row. It's just the best. So warm and funny.
5/5 (4/1/2015)
77. St. Vincent
I tend to like the kind of stories where there's a friendship between a young kid and an elderly person. This one's no exception. Would totally recoemmnd. Naomi was great! And the kid aswell.
3,5/5 (4/1/2015)
76. Bedtime Stories
What a great film! So sweet and positive. Easy watch, would watch it again.
3,5/5 (3/1/2015)
75. Funny People
Well, for starters I'd like to say it was waaaaaayyy too long. I liked that it was kinda different but I wasn't really feeling the whole stand-up comedy business. I was hoping it would be a lot funnier though.
1,5/5 (3/1/2015)
74. Sweet Home Alabama
Ahh...great. I like Witherspoon. A light-hearted, easy-going cute film. Deffo would watch it again after seeing it many times.
3/5 (2/1/2015)
73. New Year's Eve
Ugh, too many famous faces. Almost like showing off or name dropping. But the different storylines were easy to follow. I'm afraid Lea Michele will forever be Rachel Berry. I didn't like the fact that she sang in the film. Cheesy. But I really wanna dance with Zac Efron. :D He seemed so cool and fun at the party.
2,5/5 (30/12/2014)
72. Your Highness
Great film! Liked everything about it. Have seen it before and am sure will be watching it some more.
3,5/5 (30/12/2014)
71. Limitless
Well, I had higher expectations for this one. More simple expectations. The pill thing was interesting but the guy's job put me off and they were talking too much specialized English so I didn't understand a thing. I didn't even understand what his job was. And it was too serious for my liking.
1,5/5 (27/12/2014)
70. The Green Hornet
Well, I had to watch something to restore my faith in Rogen-Franco-Other Dudes-combo. If the killing of Kim hadn't been in The Interview I would have easily liked the film better than this one. It was too super hero-ish. I really liked Diaz' character. The film was kinda stereotyping the Asians but at least it wasn't racist.
1,5/5 (26/12/2014)
69. My Neighbour Totoro
Ahh, Hayao Miyazaki film! I just love love love him. So cute, positive and innocent. Would watch it again several times. Well, I have already seen it before but still.
4/5 (25/12/2014)
68. The Interview
Oh my god. So I don't know if the whole North Korea business was a publicity stunt or not but I definitely would see why NK would be upset over this film. So racist and disrespectful. I can't believe the americans who call this freedom of speech and artistic vision. There is no way americans wouldn't get their panties in a twist if there was a horrendously disrespectful piece of shit like this made about Obama. I hope Kim will do something about it.
1/5 (25/12/2014)
67. Source Code
Well... this was quite a bit like Edge Of Tomorrow, only not as good.
2,5/5 (20/12/2014)
66. Palo Alto
I had put off watching this film for ages cause I was afraid it was gonna suck big time. Well.... it didn't. It wasn't brilliant either
2/5 (13/12/2014)
65. The Boxtrolls
Watched it cause of Pegg. I hoped for something better. I mean it was good and everything and I don't mean to be a racist bitch but ughhhhhhh!! The English accent!!!! I just cannot take it seriously, it ruins the film for me. I especially didn't like Winifred and Eggs' voices. The story was a tad boring aswell.
1,5/5 (12/12/2014)
64. The Amityville Horror
Well... I feel like I've seen it before. Made me jump a couple of times. On the whole it made me feel like I need to be a better person so that I won't attract negativity.
1,5/5 (4/12/2014)
63. The Guilt Trip
Well, I like Rogen and Streisand. Both did a great job. And the "Joyce" bit at the end was so sweet. It was a tad boring and even irritating at times, when the mother was too motherly. I know I wouldn't put up with stuff like that as calmly. Then again I wouldn't lash out to my mother like he did.
2/5 (30/11/2014)
62. Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters
2/5 (30/11/2014)
61. Edge Of Tomorrow
Whaaaat!? :D I gotta say I'm digging this sci fi stuff. Although there was too much action in it. Wouldn't watch it again but was a good one time watch. Til the ending though. Whaaaaat!? What did it all mean? Maybe I'm just slow. Oh and Emily Blunt is an exceptionally pretty woman!
2,5/5 (29/11/2014)
60. Delivery Man
I liked the film up til the hospital scene with the marriage proposal. It must be super weird for the woman to be a step mum to so many kids and incredibly invasive to have all those people bother her right after dramatic arrival of her own baby. But was sort of cool anyway, a different story.
2/5 (25/11/2014)
59. Wanderlust
I didn't like the commune. And I was pretty sure the main pair were gonna end up with the people at the commune so it was nice when they actually ended up with each other. Yeah, I just didn't like the place, it was all about forced happiness and freedom or something.
2/5 (20/11/2014)
58. After Earth
Well, I enjoyed it. Don't know why it got those Razzie awards/nominations. I especially liked the bit where the father talked about fear since... I live in major fear every day. The only thing that was kinda iffy were the names. Why such fancy pants names? Doesn't Kitai mean China in Russian? And why was the appartment they lived in so fancy pantsly futuristic? Just because you live on another planet doesn't mean you lose touch with homeliness. Or maybe it does.... at least architects can be sure that when Earth fails, or human kind at life, then they will be saved cause who else is gonna design the futuristic houses!?
3/5 (18/11/2014)
57. The Big Wedding
Hm. Was kinda lighthearted and all but too wedding-y. Grace was a plus. I really liked Ellie and Bebe characters. They're a little too old but I'd like to be in that sort of stage in my life. Not that old but just as content and secure.
1,5/5 (17/11/2014)
56. Let's Be Cops
Ugh. Didn't like it. Wasn't funny nor interesting. The idea of the film was stupid.
1/5 (15/11/2014)
55. Good People
Ahh... watched it cause of Franco. And then Omar Sy was in it! I quite like Sy. The film itself was nothing new. Very very mediocre. Franco's so cute though.
2/5 (14/11/2014)
54. 22 Jump Street
Well, I liked the first one a lot more. Have seen that one many many many times. As for this.... well. it was so so. Wouldn't watch it again like the first one.
2/5 (10/11/2014)
53. Heaven Is For Real
Some bits of it were quite good but on the whole it was a tad too religious and naive for me.
2/5 (7/11/2014)
52. Horton Hears A Who
Meh... I wasn't feeling the Who characters and their world. I like the weirdness of Hayao Miyazaki films but this one made me feel... weird.
2/5 (5/11/2014)
51. Elf
Yeah, this film didn't really spark any Christmas spirit in me. The Buddy character was quite cutely juvenile but also a little creepy. Luckily I didn't watch it when I needed some holiday spirit cause I would have beenr eally disappointed.
1,5/5 (4/11/2014)
50. Dark Shadows
Hm, I don't even know why I watched the film since it's not very light hearted and fun like I like my movies. When I was younger I sort of like Johnny Depp. As an actor. Then I forgot about him. After watching this, I gotta say he's pretty good. Or maybe it was just the character he played.
3/5 (3/11/2014)
49. The Lorax
Well...this looked like an American version of Mononoke Hime. Which , by the way, doesn't mean I automatically think is the best shizz ever. I thought of watching it with the family but don't think I will. We watched Bee Movie together and the parents thought it was a little too "scientific" and preachy. And I feel like this film was it. I found the plasticy feel of the town too... plasticy and off putting, eventhough it was cute, innovative and colourful. I was hoping they'd do a story about real trees or have a beautiful forest scenery by the end of the film.
2,5/5 (1/11/2014)
48. Shutter
Was ok. I wasn't that scary but it had a "nice" point to it. Serves the bastards right.
2/5 (31/10/2014)
47. Horrible Bosses
Okay, why is Jason Bateman playing the same character in every movie he's in? I mean he's likable but certainly not versatile with his roles. And Aniston played yet another character who I hate. Charlie Day was great.
2/5 (31/10/2014)
46. This Means War
Was okay. More on the negative side. I didn't like the action bits in it. Was too much of it.
1,5/5 (30/10/2014)
45. Halloweentown
Ehh...was alright I guess. Had seen it before.
2/5 (28/10/2014)
44. Sex Tape
Watchable. So so. Had heard bad things about it but it really wasn't that bad. The story was kinda weak and limited but still enjoyable.
2,5/5 (26/10/2014)
43. Blended
What a great film! Amzing! Was hooked all the way through. I wwish there were more that positive and warm films.
5/5 (25/10/2014)
42. House Broken
Watched it cause of Danny DeVito and Katey Sagal. My my....what a horrible piece of shit. I just hated it!!!
I couldn't stand the two main guys. Can't believe DeVito and Sagal took part in this bullshit.
0/5 (22/10/2014)
41. Two Night Stand
Quite liked it. Made me feel horny and lovelorn. Ha! Miles Teller is cute cute. And I liked Analeigh too.
3/5 (21/10/2014)
40. Horns
I just couldn't take the film seriously. It was a little pretentious but too weak. I must say Radcliffe was better in this than all the Potter films combined. Love Juno Temple though. The love story was sweet.
1,5/5 (14/10/2014)
39. Mononoke Hime
Watched it with Aksel. Had anxiety during the film so I couldn't really concentrate. But yeah, I've said it for years now that it's my fave film. It's a masterpiece. It's not a mindless feel good movie but it's hard hitting, meaningful and just amazing.
5/5 (9/10/2014)
38. Take Me Home Tonight
Boring. I mean I like Topher Grace but... yaaaaawwn! I could relate to the speech when Matt was about to ride the ball but still...boring af.
0,5/5 (9/10/2014)
37. Devil's Knot
Fuck! What horrible story. It's absolutely heartbreaking to have something like that happen to you. And fuck all those people trying to disparage Wicca and equate it with Satanism. Ugh, I was really hoping for a happy ending. Fuck the fuckface whoever killed these kids.
3,5/5 (8/10/2014)
36. Paul
I tried watching this film several times. Finally made it to the end. Mainly watched it cause of Pegg. I don't think this film really let anyone shine. Kinda stunted the acting. And I didn't like the character Paul cause he was too much of a "cool guy". Other than that it was a bit boring but okay. Oh and when Pegg was killed I already got pissed off cause I didn't wanna watch yet another film where he was offed. :D
1,5/5 (8/10/2014)
35. Identity Thief
Was so so. Started watching it several times and now finally finished it. I can't believe the calmness of the man. If somebody did that to me I'd want them dead. Oh and one of the daughters was the girl off We Bought A Zoo! :) Yyeah and it was nice to see Amanda Peet again. Beautiful woman!
2/5 (3/10/2104)
34. Pain&Gain
Well, this is like the male version of The Bling Ring.
1,5/5 (3/10/2014)
33. This Is The End
Seen it several times before. Just watched it to get a freash emotion. I simply enjoyed it.
3/5 (1/10/2014)
32. We Bought A Zoo
What a great film! A great story! If I had seen the film in my childhood it would have easily been my fave film ever. Got teary eyed on quite a few occasions.
3/5 (30/9/2014)
31. Not Cool
Oh dear. I had heard Smiley was crap so I thought Shane had learned from it but this film was crap, cliche, not funny. I especially hated the main girl. So fucking annoying. And the families were so over played.
1/5 (29/9/2014)
30. A Case Of You
Was pretty good. Although I didn't like the end of it. It went downhill from the book review thingy. Was too predictible.
3/5 (29/9/2014)
29. Bruce Almighty
Okay, despite the horrible belief propaganda I liked this film. Was fun, interesting, fresh and had a good going.
4/5 (27/9/2014)
28. Upside down
Fucking crazy ass film! Well one thing I didn't like was the guy's voice over. It just sounded unnatural. And I obviously didn't like the love story. It was weird the way she remembered everything all of a sudden and how they got lovey dovey so quickly. And then she was preggers. *barf* Other than that it was pretty interesting. Made me feel uncomfortable. All space things freak me out. Oh, was great to see Timothy Spall. Reminded me of Intimacy.
1,5/5 (26/9/2014)
27. For Good Time, Call...
Liked this one. Great story about friendship.
2,5/5 (21/9/2014)
26. The Bling Ring
Ugh, this film is fit for little teenage girls. I got nothing but disgust and boredom out of it. Delusional and stupid people. Ugh, really didn't want to know their story. Think I have to do a little more research on films I'm going to watch. Claire Julien was great.
2/5 (21/9/2014)
25. Her
Weird ass film. It was well done and all but I just don't dig love stories. Thought it was gonna be less about love. By the way things are looking for me in my love life at the minute, this might be a good solution for my problems, the kind of relationship I mean.
2/5 (20/9/2014)
24. Vamps
Ha! Watched it last night. Was too tired to make an entry last night. Was a good watch although I didn't get the point of the film. But was enjoyable nevertheless. Meredith Scott Lynn is great.
3/5 (20/9/2014)
23. Dirty Deeds
Blah. Really poor. Not binding at all.
0,5/5 (19/9/2014)
22. Frozen
Ahhh. Have seen it several times. Watched it with Aksel on our first "date". Quite a nice cartoon. I can relate to Elsa what with me being crazy, trying to "conceal, don't feel, don't let it show" my anxiety.
5/5 (18/9/2014)
21. Bad Neighbours
Umm....yeah this film didn't really spark any emotions. But I guess I didn't like the long fighting, too negative. The film kinda had a beginning and that was that. There was no "normal" ending.
2/5 (18/9/2014)
20. Teen Spirit
So so predictable. Plus the blonde one was such a crappy actress. I felt like it was a watered down version of Mean Girls. Just crappy.
0.5/5 (16/9/2014)
19. Twins
Wow! I cannot believe the film is that old. I was three when it came out. I think you can call it a classic. I've seen it before, obviously, and I'd watch it again. Oh and I gotta say, the girls looked really fashionable, in nowadays' sense. Plus Bonnie Bartlett is an excellent actress.
2,5/5 (14/9/2014)
18. I Give It A Year
One word: boring. It had a bunch of actors in it who I knew of so I thought it would be good. And the British accent threw me off aswell.
1/5 (13/9/2014)
17. Friends
I finished watching the series the second time. This time around I didn't hate it as much as the first time. I especially hated Rachel and how Ross dropped everyone and everything for her. She's just too big of a bitch and not wrothy. I also didn't like Joey. So I lked it when the two fucks were together. All the other ones I liked. I guess it was pretty funny at times but most of the jokes were predictible.
3,5/5 (11/9/2014)
16. Get Smart
Oh god, what mindlessly boring film. I had no idea the entire film what they were after. I had to take so many pauses cause I was just so bored while watching it.
0/5 (10/9/2014)
15. A Fantastic Fear Of Everything
Fucking film! :D Okay I guess I liked it cause it was different. Never have I seen anything like it. Simon was extraordinary in it. I could relate to the part where he was talking ot the shrink and when he was freed from his fear. But! The rest of the film was waaaaaaaayyyy too weird and dark. I need something light-hearted now, the film made me feel sort of trapped and depressed. Was a great one time experience.
1/5 (9/9/2014)
14. Independence Day
Watched it over two evenings, was too long for one go. Yeah I had named the film one of my all time faves for quite a few years. I like a disaster film. It was terribly America praising. Some parts made me laugh cause they were so ridiculous but on the whole, I liked it.
2/5 (8/9/2014)
13. Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny
Ahh, I love the films Jack Black is in. Especially Year One and Nacho Libre. Even School Of Rock. As well as this film. Like I've said on my blog I value personal growth in people and these films are exactly about that. And I liked Ben Stiller and Tim Robbins' guest starring aswell! :D
2,5/5 (6/9/2014)
12. Ted
Yehh... I guess the point of the film was about a male person growing into a man. It would have been great if the teddybear had actually properly died. With the teddy being alive, the film sent a confusing message for me. There wasn't particulary anything wrong with it but I just wasn't digging it. Wasn't bored but wouldn't watch it again either.
1/5 (6/9/2014)
11. The Babymakers
Oh my god! What a load of rubbish. Everything was just shit.
0/5 5/9/2014
10. Pineapple Express
Well, as it turns out, I've seen several James Franco movies before I knew he existed. For example, the Spiderman movie, Knocked Up, Tristan and Isolde and apparently Pineapple Express. I definitely had seen the part where Seth Rogen broke up with his girlfriend in the film. Funnily I didn't remember James. It's quite tricky for me to watch anything with someone I fancy in it cause most of my attention goes to drooling. I liked the film til all the killing and shooting started to happen. I even found bits of it funny. I'll give it a higher rating than to some of the films I've given here but I'd rather watch the lower rating ones
2,5/5 (31/8/2014)
9. Burke & Hare
Ahh, yet another black comedy with Simon Pegg. I really really like Pegg but this film was a tad boring. And why was he killed off again!? I liked the era the film was in. Visually it looked great. But the story was a little poor for me. Was nice to see Jessica Hynes again. Maybe I'll look up films she's in from now on. Oh and the men's Irish accent didn't really sound Irish.
2/5 (29/8/2014)
8. 21 And Over
Ugh. I didn't like it. I'm not into these party, drinking and college films anymore I guess. The only emotion I got was when the guys had to make out, made me cringe.
1/5 (29/8/2014)
7. Passengers
Well, I wanted to see a scary movie. Found this while browsing through trailers again. I'm not to keen on the male actor, Patrick Wilson. I don't even know why. I've seen him before and...maybe it's because he plays in the same type of films or the same type of character. At least the ones I've seen him in. Yeah...for the first hour and 10 minutes I was super bored. Thought of turning the film off or doing something else. It seemed this random boring and confusing love story. But oh man! When the plane scenes with Claire came up I got teary eyed. :D I didn't see this coming at all. And I've seen The Others! Hahahaa! It was so heartbreaking when Claire started screaming out her sister's name. And it was lovely that near and dear people were there to guide the newly dead ones. I was gonna give it a 1 cause most of the film was borig but the last 15 minutes were really sweet.
2,5/5 (28/8/2014)
6. C.O.G.
Yes. Child of God. Not the James Franco movie. I was just browsing through trailers on YouTube and found this. Thought it looked good. Then I saw the ratings and yeah...those weren't that good. And Christianity isn't something I particularly feel close to or even like. Judging by the film and my own personal experiences Christians are great brain washers. And I certainly don't mean it in a negative way only. I'm sure everyone prays to something/someone at least once in their life.
I really liked the apple factory bit. Thought it's a place where someone like me could work at.
I don't really understand the low ratings of the film. I thought it was an interesting and different story. Although the end was a bit abrupt. I didn't really get the point of the film (you cannot really make someone Christian!?) but the story was interesting anyway. Watched it in one go and didn't take any breaks.
3/5 (27/8/2014)
5. 13 Going On 30
Okay, I never liked Jennifer Garner. Now I know why. It's because of the "Bambi watching her mother get shot and starpped to the back of a van" look on her face. (I thought Bambi was male!?) Yeah I guess it would be my kinda film but Jennifer's in it so...
2/5 (25/8//2014)
4. Geek Charming
I knew even before watching it that it was going to be... poor. Yeah, that's what it was. It was so so predictable. It wasn't interesting, the acting was crappy and it was just... a big big cliché. But I'll give it a half a point for being "positive".
1.5/5 (24/8/2014)
3. Brave
Seen it before. Just watched it with the family tonight. It's somewhat different but it's just not binding enough for me. Aesthetically it was nice and the story was great and all but I'd rather watch Frozen or Finding Nemo. It's weird cause I can totally relate to the mother-daughter issues business but yeah...not really doing it for me.
3/5 (01/08/2014)
2. Big Nothing
Okay, which film did I just watch cause I didn't see anything funny. I watched this mainly cause of Pegg. He's one of my fave actors. The film itself was okay I guess but I was really waiting for funnies... which didn't appear. At all. The bonus though was the fact that David Schwimmer was in it. I'm watching Friends at the minute and his character is one of my faves on that. And another big plus was Alice Eve. She was brilliant.
The film was okay for the most of time, excluding the end then. What the!? Why did all the characters have to die!? Too dark for my liking and I don't really like crime stories. Wouldn't watch it again.

1. A Million Ways To Die In The Wild West
Yeah... my mum and Lembit wanted to see this film because of it's trailer. They thought it would be funny. Well, it wasn't really. Plus we watched it without the subtitles so they couldn't understand much of the film. I did but it... yeah... wasn't funny. It was an okay film to switch off your brain and stare blankly at the screen and let out a few chuckles now and then.
